Dr. Feinstein received his M.D. from the University of Virginia and completed his ophthalmology residency training at the Illinois Eye & Ear Infirmary at University of Illinois in Chicago. His fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery was at the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute at the University of Colorado. Dr. Feinstein is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has received multiple honors and awards, including a prestigious research fellowship in ophthalmology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering. He has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented research at many national meetings. In his leisure time, he enjoys tennis, hiking, cycling and spending time with his family.
