William J. Dunn, M.D.

Dr. William J. Dunn graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs and received his medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He then completed a flexible internship at Andrews Air Force Base, MD (home of Air Force One), followed by an ophthalmology residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. After residency training and twelve years of Active Duty in the Air Force, Dr. Dunn completed a fellowship in Retina and Vitreous Disease and Surgery at Retina Associates of Cleveland, Mt. Sinai Medical Center/Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Providing over 30 years of patient care in the Daytona area, Dr. Dunn has been named “Top Doctor” by Castle-Connolly, for twenty-three years in a row. He has also received the President’s Volunteer Service Award from EyeCare America.
Dr. William J. Dunn was awarded the “Life Fellow” Award by the American Academy of Ophthalmology in 2017 for over 35 years of continuous and uninterrupted service and membership in the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Dunn received the Credential of CHE, “Certified Healthcare Executive” from the American College of Health Care Executives in 1995.
